PHILOSOPHY
At VOUX Wines, we believe that winemaking begins with the smallest elements—the essence contained within what appears simple yet shapes everything we experience. Our farming philosophy is rooted in this understanding, guiding us to nurture our soil with care and precision. By continuously monitoring and replenishing its natural balance, we cultivate the highest-caliber fruit, ensuring each vintage reflects the vitality of the land.
VOUX Wines is a story of care and craft. As small growers, we dedicate our time and attention to every nuance of the winemaking process. It’s a story rooted in the earth, shaped by patience, and guided by respect. A journey of learning, refining, and embracing the truth that the most valuable things take time.
All good things take time. We know this, we embrace it—like a timeless conversation with a dear friend, filled with meaning and purpose. A well-kept secret, unfolding with patience.
It is a joy to witness the vineyard grow—to see the sun rise, the rain fall, and the seasons shape each vine. We are present in this process, bound to the earth in an intimate relationship. It is our duty to nurture, to respect, and to wait.
Through all our senses, we experience the result of our work—our care, our dedication. A moment of warmth, pride, and quiet satisfaction. Fleeting, yet everlasting.
Before embarking on the journey of VOUX Wines, founder Chad Hughes earned his certificates in viticulture and enology from Mt. San Jacinto College in 2017. There, he gained hands-on experience in vineyard management and winemaking under the guidance of industry professionals in the Temecula Valley AVA.
At VOUX, we believe that continuous learning is essential to the evolution of our craft. Sharing that knowledge—one glass at a time—is not just our passion, but a cornerstone of the experience we offer to our guests.
At VOUX Wines, over 40% of our resources are dedicated to cultivating and caring for our vineyards. From day one, organic and regenerative farming have been the cornerstone of our craft. We proudly partner with Advancing Eco Agriculture (AEA), using their organic products to nourish our vines and enrich our soil.
This commitment not only minimizes our environmental impact but also elevates the quality of our fruit. Healthier vines mean fewer pests and diseases, eliminating the need for harmful pesticides. The result? Exceptionally pure, clean wine—crafted with integrity, from soil to glass.
From harvest to press, we utilize state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to carefully control temperature and protect the integrity of our fruit. Every grape is processed on-site within an hour of harvesting—handled exclusively by our own crew using our own equipment. This swift and meticulous approach preserves the freshness of the fruit and allows us to maintain complete control over every step of the winemaking process, ensuring the highest quality in every bottle.
